‘Love’: A Guardian or an enemy?

“All the great lovers who ever existed on this earth are famous only for their ‘love’, but no famous person is known for his or her love.”

This is really an interesting fact that no great personality, who is famous for anything he/she have done, is not known for his/her love. And all the great lovers are known distinctively for their love. Possibly, love never happens to the people who grow great. Or in other words, they never find time for it. Another possibility is that one who enters in the world of love, never bothers about rest of the world and never do anything unusual except ‘The Love’.

There are still other possibilities remaining that can be considered.
1. I am writing this to prove myself a great person. 
2. I am frustrated and trying to prove the ‘grapes of love’ sour. 
3. I am sane and writing all this on my rational observation. But the world never let grow lovers and doesn't let them become famous (though they become famous for their struggle for love), and to suppress love it never highlights ‘love-story’ of great people.

Whatever the case may be, it is really an interesting question to think upon.
Love is definitely a guardian, who guides a person to the highest realms of joy, happiness and pleasure. But at the same time it appears as an enemy for the world, as it doesn’t allow one to be great (as defined by the world).

I am not favoring love, nor am I against it. But there is certainly something wrong with this ‘world’ and ‘love’.

  1. interesting... i dont quite completely agree... without love there is no success... the universe is love... life is love... so we are all great because we are a product of the love that eternally resonates in nature

  2. But I am completely in agreement with you
"Love is definitely a guardian, who guides a person to the highest realms of joy, happiness and pleasure."
"But at the same time it appears as an enemy for the world, as it doesn’t allow one to be great (as defined by the world)."
This would have better explained by this:
"But at the same time it appears as an enemy to be possessed by a person, from the world's point of view, as it kills a great person before his/her rise."

  3. Love is too subtle to be felt; unless you are yourself taking a dip in the ocean. Like all emotions, love is illogical. Illogical persons are believed to be unsuccessful. That's how most people come to accept love as a barrier to success. They assume love to be an 'attraction' towards something living or dead or something that was a thing that never lived or never died. Such a love is only a hindrance. If this is what you mean, it is certainly going to pull your legs when you want to rise up the ladder. I will rather call it attachment. Attachment to a girl that does not let you think about your work. Attachment for a thing that does not let you think rationally. Attachment to a person that does not let you consider his flaws blah blah...

Lets change the definition a little bit..
"Only love worthy of being called love is unconditional love" Everything changes... There is attraction but there is no craving. There is love but there is no bondage. There is love and there is greatness. You are in love and you rise move than those who are not in love.

  4. OK, because I am enginner, I would like to dwell upon the achievements of some scientists:

Einstein was quite a ladies man.

Heisenberg, made love to a lady in a resort(extra marital affair) few days before he gave his Uncertainity theory. The only remains of that lady was a red sandal. She's still anonymous.

    And the examples are countless.

"This is really an interesting fact that no great personality, who is famous for anything he/she have done, is not known for his/her love. And all the great lovers are known distinctively for their love."

Well isn't loving a feat of its own accord? An achievement deserving highest accolades?

And then why do people say that behind every successful man is a woman,( or maybe two).

  5. Well.I favour it.Love is something that happens at any time of lyf period. Its does not have any limits.Yeah love if accepted positively then it ensures success. This is also true that Every one doesnot get true love.
Some people who r less emotional usually never fall in love, nor can understand its depth.
Love is a deep ocean if any one falls in it safely will definitly have success...
Let me make clear with this "Some say river to pond...i.e., those who have garoor will see this world this a "chashma"....thus cant hav a clear version of love......Its a very beautiful happening...Make it in ur lyf happen and then c "thing of beauty is joy forever........."
    :)
